World Maritime Rescue Congress speakers and workshops announced

The World Maritime Rescue Congress in Bremerhaven 1-4 June 2015 is shaping up to be one of the biggest IMRF Congress yet.

With over 60 presenters and 16 workshops over 3 days they will be covering everything from Funding and Fundraising for SAR to the expanding use of drones and the challenging topic of rescuing migrants. SAR Training and developing trends in communications feature along with Mass Rescue Operations and a workshop that looks at organisational change from those who have done it.

They will be launching the IMRF Rescue Boat Guidelines and the Mass Rescue Operations resource library as part of the workshop sessions.

The Congress will also include the parade of boats on the Bremerhaven harbour featuring the best of the old and the best of the new rescue boats. There is the International SAR Exhibition and networking evenings including dinner in the world famous Klimahaus Bremerhaven 8° Ost where delegates will experience a meal to suit any climate.
