Anthony Veder’s latest newbuilding Coral Evolution delivered

The new gas carrier Coral Evolution has been delivered recently by Hyundai-Mipo Dockyard in Ulsan, South Korea, yard no.8354, heading to Western Europe and stopping for bunkers in Singapore.

The LNG tanker with a carrying capacity of 29,400 cubic metres of liquid gas was launched 18 September 2023 and delivered to Anthony Veder on 31 January 2024.

She is fitted with a single main engine with an output of 8,940KW (12,155hp) for a service speed of 19 knots.

Anthony Veder works with the world’s leading manufacturers of chemicals and operates a fleet of specialised gas tankers in the transport of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Petrochemical gases, such as Ethylene and Propylene.

The pioneering company had the first fast cooling Ethylene carriers fuelled by LNG and the first small scale LNG carrier.

The company also conducted the first LNG operations such as ship-to-ship and ship-to-truck transfers, bunkering, and gassing-up LNG terminals.
