Adora Cruises unveils latest itineraries

Adora Cruises has unveiled its 2025 deployment plans for Qingdao. Both of Adora’s ships are set to embark from the Chinese port, starting with a couple of cruises aboard the 2023-built Adora Magic City, followed by a homeporting season featuring Adora Mediteranea.

The company also announced a strategic partnership with Caesar Tourism, aimed at expanding its presence in the Shandong and Qingdao markets. Currently operating from Shanghai, Adora Magic City is scheduled to arrive at Qingdao International Cruise Homeport on 6 April 2025.

The 5,246-guest ship will offer two four-night international cruises from the port in Northern China, visiting Fukuoka, Japan, and Jeju, South Korea. This will mark the first time Adora Magic City visits a Chinese port city other than Shanghai.

Guests from Qingdao and nearby regions will have the opportunity to experience the vessel, which aims to “blend the essence of Eastern and Western cultures,” according to the company.

Adora Magic City is also expected to visit additional ports in China, further promoting maritime and cruise culture across the country. As the first large cruise ship built in China, Adora Magic City was delivered by the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Yard in late 2023.

In May, Adora Mediteranea will take over the homeporting season in Qingdao, offering a series of four-night cruises to Japan and South Korea.

According to Adora, the itineraries will take passengers to destinations such as Fukuoka in Japan and Jeju in South Korea. Originally built for Costa Cruises, the 2,100-guest ship entered service in 2003 before embarking on its first sailing for Adora in late 2023.
