Condor high-speed ferries on the move

On 5 January 2020 Condor Rapide (1997/5,007gt) sailed from St Malo to Poole prior to her annual overhaul in Falmouth.

Following completion of this work the 87m Incat-built HSC is expected to return to Poole for lay-up alongside the 102m Austal-built Condor Liberation (2010/6,307gt).

High-speed sailings between the UK, France and the Channel Islands are suspended until April due to very low demand following Covid-19 travel restrictions and national lockdowns.

Passenger and freight services continue from Portsmouth on Commodore Clipper (1999/14,000gt) and Commodore Goodwill (1996/11,166gt) although Condor Ferries now require passengers to provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 result conducted within 72 hours of travel.
