LNG VESSELS: Hyundai to sell LNG business

South Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine has indicated it plans to sell its liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport business to a compatriot investment firm, IMM Investment Corp, for approximately$1.03 billion as it continues to search for funds to pay off debts. Thefinancially troubledshipping company expects to post its third straight year of losses because of weak freight rates, particularly in the container trades. JS
