Ferry companies switch berths at Dublin Port

Dublin Port saw two ferry companies switch terminals in late January 2023.

Seatruck Ferries moved their terminal to the Alexandra Basin and the P&O on river berth, close to the Toll Bridge and city centre.

This facilitated the ability to transship goods arriving on CLdNs ships from Santander in Spain onto the UK Market.

In late 2022 CLdN took ownership of Seatruck, the ships adopting the CLdN funnel colours.

Following the move, the company introduced a 4-ship rolling schedule to their Liverpool to Dublin route using Seatruck Progress, Precision, Power amd Pennant.

Seatruck Pace served Dublin to Holyhead whilst Seatruck Point Seatruck Performance link Heysham with Warrenpoint.

P&O handed back their charter ship Clipper Pennant to Seatruck.

Pre pandemic, P&O had a four-ship operation from Dublin to Liverpool and now their service was left in the hands of the 30-year-old Norbay and Norbank.

The ships moved to Seatrucks old terminal, by the Irish Ferries car ferry berth.
