New Portsmouth-Cowes Scoot ferry service

Passengers heading to and from the Isle of Wight from Portsmouth have an even wider choice from 5 November, with the launch of a new ferry service to Cowes.

Scoot Ferries has just announced it is bringing forward plans for the new foot-passenger link by two years, following overwhelming public demand and the success of operations during the famous Cowes Week sailing event this year.

The high-speed catamarans will leave from the Millennium Pontoon on The Town Camber, close to the Ben Ainslie Racing headquarters building. Less than 35 minutes later they will dock in Cowes at Trinity Landing.

Services will operate from early morning to late at night every day of the year. 41 passengers will have access to Wi-Fi onboard, with comfortable ‘full suspension’ seats for all, climate control and ample space for bikes and dogs.
