CUNARD AND P&O: World cruises aplenty

Cunard Line and P&O Cruises have released details of their 2013 world cruises. On 10 January 2013 both Queen Victoria (2007/90,049gt) and Queen Mary 2 (2003/148,528gt) will set sail from Southampton at the start of their respective voyages.

Queen Victoria sails westbound on a 105-day itinerary, visiting 34 ports in 23 countries. Although Queen Elizabeth is not actually on a World Cruise, she is making a 91-day voyage to the South Pacific and New Zealand via the Panama Canal.

P&O have four ships on global itineraries in 2013, with Azura (2010/116,000gt) making her inaugural World Cruise, departing Southampton on 7 January 2013 on a 110-night Grand Odyssey, visiting the Middle East, India, Australia and South Africa. Aurora (2000/76,152gt) sails from Southampton on the same day.
