WORLD CRUISES: World cruises for 2013

World Cruises are still very much alive, and a mixed bag of around 15 ships will set off to circumnavigate the globe in January 2013. The Southampton armada includes P&O’s Arcadia (99 days) which sets sail on 5 January 2013, followed by Aurora (108 days) and Azura (110 days) on 7 January. Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth (91 days) departs on 6 January and Queen Mary 2 (106 days) on 10 January. Balmoral (112 days) leaves Southampton on 5 January.

From Port Everglades, Holland America’s Amsterdam (115 days) departs on 5 January, as does Silversea’s Silver Whisper (115 days), while Seabourn Quest (116 days) sails the following day. Pacific Princess (107 days) departs Port Everglades on 27 January. Costa Deliziosa (100 days) will embark Italian passengers in Savona for a voyage which begins on 6 January. Amadea (144 days) departs Hamburg on 20 December, while Artania, (99 days) departs Genoa on 21 December.
