Stena Line Lands Top Freight Award

Stena Line has been awarded the Excellence in Maritime Logistics Award at the prestigious Export & Freight 2017 Awards held at Belfast’s Waterfront Hall recently.

Over 700 members of the local and national transport and logistics industry attended the awards ceremony, the biggest event in the Irish transport calendar which recognises the depth and diversity of an industry fully deserving of recognition and reward.

Anna Breen, Stena Line’s Freight Commercial Manager (Irish Sea North) said: “This was a great performance in a highly competitive market and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the Stena Line Freight team who have worked so hard to help us achieve this memorable accolade.”

Anna added: “Since the award was announced we have received numerous calls of congratulations and good wishes from customers across the country who agreed that the award was richly deserved.  As we move into the busiest period of our trading calendar, this is welcome recognition for the day to day hard work delivered not only by the Freight team but the whole Stena Line Irish Sea operation.”

Stena Line is the largest ferry operator on the Irish Sea, offering a total of 228 weekly sailing options between Britain and Ireland. Stena Line also offers a direct service from Rosslare to Cherbourg with three return crossings a week.
