Royal Caribbean gets largest cruise ship Symphony of the Seas ready

Symphony of the Seas will claim the title of the largest cruise ship in the world when she debuts in April 2018 for her inaugural season in Europe.

The vessel will have balcony staterooms overlooking the open ocean, and the public areas will consist of seven neighbourhoods, including Central Park; Pool and Sports Zone; Vitality at Sea Spa and Fitness Center; Royal Promenade; Boardwalk – Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade and the Sugar Beach; Youth Zone and Entertainment Place.

The 25th ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet, Symphony of the Seas will set sail in the Mediterranean in spring calling on ports in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Provence, France; Florence/Pisa, Rome and Naples, Italy.

Beginning on 24 November 2018, the ship will make Miami, Florida her year-round home, sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.

Symphony of the Seas will have 16 guest decks, measure more than 230,000gt, carry 5,500 guests at double occupancy, and feature 2,774 staterooms.
