Armoqique to cover refits for Brittany Ferries

Brittany Ferries’ ro-pax vessel Armorique (2009/29,468gt) will once again provide relief cover during fleet refits this coming winter.

The 165m vessel will operate Poole-Cherbourg 8 to 13 December in place of Barfleur (1992/20,133gt) and Portsmouth-Caen 2 January to 7 February covering for Normandie (1992/27,451gt).

Armorique will herself be overhauled between 5 November and 8 December.

The STX Europe Finnish-built Armorique was purposely designed for the Plymouth-Roscoff route but was also intended as a versatile relief ship, able to berth at every one of the company’s ports and offering double-deck loading with a good mix of passenger and freight capacity.
