Baja Ferries leases ro-ro to Trinidad & Tobago

Baja Ferries has leased its 19,963gt truck ferry Cabo Star to the Government of Trinidad & Tobago for one year at a rate of $23,500 per day for use between the islands of Trinidad and Tobago.

The 157.6m by 25.3m ship, which has cabins for 12 passengers and can accommodate up to 230 vehicles, was completed by Poland’s Gdansk Shipyard as Finnforest for Finland’s Finncarriers in 1988 and has most recently been operated by a number of European shipping lines, including Denmark’s DFDS Seaways, as Antares.
