Careful cargo carried by heavylifter

Handing very expensive yachts can be tricky work, as several have been mishandled and gone into the drink, but the 63.1m long megayacht Irimari, which weights 900 metric tons, was safely moved earlier this year by Hansa Heavy Lift’s HHL Valparaiso at Antalya, Turkey.

The 19.413dwt cargo ship used its two 700-ton capacity cranes in unison, and special spreader bars and frames, to move the yacht from land to sea without a scratch. JS
