Cargo ship Atlas Wind makes maiden call at Poole

On 24 August the general cargo ship Atlas Wind (1997/4,150gt) made an unexpected maiden visit to Poole from Bromborough to load local ball clay destined for the Spanish port of Castellon.

This is a regular trade at the Dorset port usually handled by ships belonging to Charles M. Willie & Co (Shipping) of Cardiff but on this occasion Atlas Wind replaced the scheduled vessel Celtic Commander (2006/3,870gt).
