Celebrity Beyond floated out at St Nazaire

Celebrity Beyond, the latest ship in the award-winning Edge Series from Celebrity Cruises, completed her float out at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire, France on 1 April 2021.

This significant occasion marks a key milestone in her construction, as she makes her way into the water for the first time.

Following her sisters Celebrity Edge and Apex, Celebrity Beyond is set to join the fleet in spring 2022.

The delivery of Beyond has been delayed by approximately 10 months due to shipyard closures and delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new 129,500gt ship measures 306m by 39m, has a speed of 22 knots.
