CELEBRITY CRUISES: Infinity gets Solstice upgrade

Celebrity Infinity (1995/ 90,228gt) is to be upgraded with many of the features of the popular Solstice class ships and follows sistership Celebrity Constellation (2002/90,280gt), which underwent the same work last year. This includes the installation of a new accommodation category, AquaClass, with 37 new suites, and a new Mediterranean-themed specialty restaurant, Blu, for AquaClass passengers.

With a revised capacity of 2,154, Celebrity Constellation will complete dry-docking at Grand Bahama Shipyard on 3 December. Similar work on her two sisters, Celebrity Summit (2001) and Celebrity Millennium (2000), will be undertaken in January and April 2012 respectively.
