New ferry – Condor plan Weymouth return

Regular sailings by Condor Ferries’ fast craft from Weymouth to the Channel Islands and France will resume on 17 July subject to repair works being completed to repair damage to the harbour wall, which forced all sailings to be switched to Poole from February 2012. Condor operations director Captain Fran Collins said: ‘We continue to liaise closely with Weymouth and Portland Borough Council regarding the planned works to the harbour wall, and are pleased to confirm that we will be operating regular sailings from Weymouth next summer’.

With the seasonal morning round trip from Poole to Cherbourg for Brittany Ferries ended, Condor will provide an additional morning link from Poole to the Channel Islands.
