Cruise ship Variety Voyager visits Poole

The mega yacht Variety Voyager arrived at Poole Harbour on the morning of 25 July 2017 having sailed overnight from Holyhead.

This was the third of five scheduled calls at Poole in 2017 by the flagship of Greek-owned Variety Cruises and the first year that the company has used a British port as part of a European stopover tour between June and October.

Specialising in small ship luxury cruising, Variety Cruises philosophy is ‘small is beautiful’ for an environmentally friendly impact on ports of call and the ocean environment.

The £30 million, 68m long vessel was built in 2012 and accommodates 72 passengers in 36 cabins, with a crew of 32. On board facilities include a lounge bar with live piano music, an open deck bar, open deck dining options and a massage room, gym and sauna.
