New CSOV Norwind Helm named

Norwind Offshore marked another milestone in its fleet in November 2024 with the addition of the CSOV Norwind Helm, further enhancing its fleet in support of offshore windfarm projects.

Purpose designed by Vard Design in Ålesund, Norway, Norwind Helm has been engineered for multifaceted offshore operations, ensuring reliable service during the construction, operation, and maintenance of offshore windfarms.

The naming ceremony took place on 15 November 2024, after which the vessel was open to the public, who were invited aboard to look round the new state-of-the-art CSOV.

The CSOV has accommodation for 87 persons on board, including 60 windfarm technicians and crew up to 27.

The vessel has Vard Electro’s SeaQ Integrated Bridge System installed, a bridge solution with an intuitive user interface designed with the operator in focus.

Designed for a clean and efficient workspace, the bridge emphasizes ease of operation, safety, and ergonomics.
