NORWEGIAN CL: European quartet

Norwegian Cruise Line is basing four ships in Europe during 2012-13, including a second vessel on a year-round basis. The 4,200-passenger Norwegian Epic (2010/155,873gt) returns for a second summer in the Mediterranean operating weekly from Barcelona to Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Villefranche and Marseille, while the 2,000-passenger Norwegian Sun (2001/78,309gt) returns to Northern Europe for a season in the Baltic based out of Copenhagen and visiting Warnemünde, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm and St Petersburg.

The 2,402-passenger Norwegian Jade (2006/93,558gt) has been sailing year-round in Europe since early 2008, usually from Barcelona, to the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean. She will be joined in April 2012 by the 2,018-passenger Norwegian Spirit (1998/75,338gt), which makes her European debut with 12-day ‘Grand Mediterranean’ voyages through the summer and autumn from Barcelona.
