QE2 Holdings: Renovation to start soon

On 15 October 2013 the operator of Queen Elizabeth 2, QE2 Holdings, signed a contract with the COSCO shipyard at Zhoushan in Zheijiang Province, China for the rebuilding of the interiors of the ship. At that stage the exact natuAre of the work was still undecided, although what had been decided was that the 990 cabins would be replaced with 400 luxury suites.

The remainder of the work will be decided after a winner has been picked from seven major interior design houses, who have been chosento submit proposals for the public spaces. Oceanic Group International Limited, the technical managers, will oversee the work.
