QE2 to awake?

Reports suggest that refurbishment activity may be about to begin on Queen Elizabeth 2, with a view to getting her up and running as a hotel by the end of next year. The current proposal is for a 300-room hotel, without any of the elaborate work topsides that would have significantly altered the appearance of the ship.
