Cunard Line: QV’s fifth anniversary

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the entry into service of Queen Victoria (2007/90,049), the ship’s godmother, the Duchess of Cornwall, was invited back to see the ship and witness the unveiling of a specially commissioned portrait of her by royal artist Richard Stone on 13 December 2012. She also met and presented certificates to 12 Prince’s Trust apprentices who had participated in the Trust’s ‘Get into work’ programme by completing a period of customer service experience at Carnival UK’s Southampton offices.
