Seabourn cruises: Fourth Odyssey ordered

Following the sale of its three small ships to Windstar Cruises, Seabourn Cruise Line has now ordered a fourth ship in the Seabourn Odyssey series, effectively replacing most of the berths sold. The new ship will be delivered during the autumn of 2016, and while the order is not unexpected, it seems that Fincantieri has won this contract, even though Mariotti built the three previous ships.

There is no information at present on the exact specification, but, with a gap of seven years from the delivery of Seabourn Odyssey to the delivery of the new ship, it is likely there will be cosmetic changes. Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest (all 32,346gt) were delivered in 2009, 2010 and 2011 respectively.
