BRITTANY FERRIES: Winter lay-up for Bretagne and Barfleur

Brittany Ferries again seek to maximise off-season deployment with both Bretagne and Barfleur, from the suspended Poole-Cherbourg link, laid up through the coming winter. Idle last winter, the 2009-built Armorique this time has a weekly roster serving Roscoff and St Malo from Plymouth, together with St Malo-Portsmouth sailings. Bretagne resumes on 29 March through to 28 October 2012. No decision has been reached yet on Barfleur’s return to Poole, but 2012 schedules follow a familiar pattern.
