Ulstein delivers CSOV vessel Olympic Notos to Olympic

The Norwegian shipbuilder Ulstein has delivered the Construction Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) Olympic Notos to Olympic.

As a result of the findings from the operation of her sistership Olympic Boreas, the shipping company states that the vessels “operate with close to a 50% reduction in fuel consumption compared to other sailing CSOVs.”

Olympic Notos is designed to meet the highest safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability standards. Equipped with the latest technology, she is poised to support a wide range of offshore operations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Based on the ULSTEINSX222 design by Ulstein Design & Solutions AS, the vessels are intended for work in the offshore wind and oil & gas segments.

They measure 89.6m by 19.2m, and have accommodation for 126 people in 91 cabins. They are also equipped with a heave motion-compensated gangway system for efficient transfer of personnel and cargo at variable landing heights.
