dship Carriers secures two Dutch ships

Hamburg-based multi-purpose cargo ship operator dship Carriers has secured the Dutch-sisters, Eemslift Dafne and Eemslift Nadine on long-term charters from Amasus Shipping.

The pair began operating for the German operator in September, taking their fleet to 20 vessels. They are fitted with two cranes, each capable of lifting 150 MT, and can be paired to lift up to 300 MT.

They were outfitted by Shipkits at Groningen during 2014, with their hulls constructed by Polish builder, Partner.

The 4,200dwt twins are certified for open hatch sailing, making them ideal for serving oil and gas, floating cargo and renewable energy clients, whilst their shallow draft enables them to enter a wider range of ports. KA
