MSC Cruises’ newest ship MSC Euribia maiden call at Portland Port

MSC Cruises’ newest ship MSC Euribia made her maiden call at Portland Port on 22 October 2023.

The 184,011gt ship measures 331m by 43m, and is 73.6m high, and can accommodate up to 6,327 passengers in 2,419 cabins, including 60 cabins for guests with disabilities or reduced mobility.

She has four pools, including one with a sliding roof and one for the MSC Yacht Club, and nine whirlpool baths. Among her other amenities are panoramic decks, and one deck for the use of the MSC Yacht Club guests.

The ship sailed from Southampton on 20 October and, after her call at Portland, headed for Hamburg. Euribia will be sailing from Southampton on Northern Cities cruises throughout  the winter.

MSC Euribia is  named after Greek goddess Euribia, who harnessed the winds, weather and constellations to master the seas.

The ship is powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
